Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Belly Blitz Review

Charlotte’s 3-minute Belly Blitz Review

I recently purchased “Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Belly Blitz” as there seemed to be so many great reviews of it all over social media, with most losing up to 5lb in their first week. The DVD consists of 12 3-minute fitness routines with Richard Callendar from ITV’s The Biggest Loser and David Souter, who were Charlotte’s supposed trainers during her 2 and a ½ stone weight loss.

The 12 3-minute routines are perfect for people of any ability, with beginner versions of each exercise, as well as the fact that you can stop the video after however many stages you have completed. The idea of the DVD is that the beginners start with completing only a few rounds of the exercise regime and then work their way up to completing all of the rounds once their fitness level has increased. The fitness video has been so successful that it has soared to the top of the DVD charts, selling twice as many copies as Disney’s Frozen.

The success has been due to the concept of the exercise; each stage is based on High Intensity Interval Training, which Richard Callendar has said is more efficient at burning fat than doing 100s of sit-ups. By combining intense cardio with resistance exercises, it is promised to make you sweat and lose up to 5 pounds a week if it is repeated daily alongside the diet plan on the DVD.

However, there are some downsides, as the warm-up, cool down, 12 stages, and extra belly blitz sections combined take around 70 minutes to complete, including waiting for them to explain each stage. Since it is supposed to be repeated daily for optimum results, it is slightly impractical to expect people who work full-time to have the spare time and energy to complete a 70-minute-long exercise regimen.

They suggest that if you don’t have enough time to complete all of the stages, you try to complete at least 3 or 4 each day, whilst combining it with the diet plan. The diet plan is incredibly realistic, which is refreshing to see, as many diet plans are sometimes so specific that they are just unachievable. I completed 9 stages of the DVD in my first attempt; it was extremely tiring and gave me a burn in my outer thigh for at least a few days.Thish made it clear to me that this fitness video definitely worked and was as good as everyone had said it was.
